Treehomes Galore :)

Now this my friends is the Yellow Treehouse Restaurant. It is located in Auckland, New Zealand and it was originally built as part of an ad campaign for a company called YELLOW (similar to our yellow pages). The idea was they would build it using green resources taken from their own Yellow Book. The end result is breathtaking-and unfortunately, completely booked for the upcoming seasons. What is interesting to me is how obviously well beautifully innovative places like this do--and how little we really see them around.

Now this right here is an unknown-just a photo I came across with no location or source. I love how it looks as if it has just been built upon and built upon for years, slowly getting taller. Really amazing.
This has to be one of the coolest things ever-It's called the Human Nest. It is located in Northern California in the Big Sur area at a resort called Treebones. (The name alone is enough to make me want to go) It comes with a campsite so that you can sleep in your tent if sleeping in the Nest doesn't go so well with you. But there is a little mattress inside and you can sleep in a nest if it so suits you! How beautiful is this!? If ever a trip with my man takes us up the Northern Coast you better believe we will be staying here. Can you imagine waking up to this? (yes, yes I can)

These amazingly beautiful balls-or Spheres rather, are called Free Spirit Spheres. They are a unique place you can stay in Vancouver. So awesome!
